Back when I was traveling for work non-stop I would send a car back if it had that feature. I had enough status they would just find me the best available car without that stupid feature and send me back out.
Those are easily turned off. What isn't easily turned off is the govt's ability to gain access to your vehicle and shut it down if they want to.
I'd rather have that Start/Stop button than my vehicle and everything about being tracked.

Not true. You cannot turn it off in all cars. If you bypass it, it voids your warranty.
kia has a 100,000 warrantee.
