This is how so many corporations have become mage giants. These CEO's live lavish lifestyles all while their employees are the poorest in the country. Its slavery. You work your whole life with the hopes to retire but those days are fading away. This is a subject that can be big viral articals to independent journalists if they would dig. There is a trend that has taken place in America since the 50s where minimum wage has made a few filthy rich and millions poor. They take advantage of people that never went to college. And especially in small towns where the job markets are tight, these companies have moved in with the promise of creating and offering thousands of jobs but all they really do is give people something to do with their time that gives no benefit. I know a lady that is very humble. She has worked at KFC for over 30 years frying chicked. Shes not the intelegent type who will seek better. She is very loyal and thinks KFC takes care of her. I remember when she told me about a raise she got. She said it was her 3rd raise. She said she gets one every 10 years. She was so excited about how much more shes making. The raise was 70 cents an hour. She makes just over 9 dollars. She told me she has gotten raises when the government raised the minimum wage but as far as the company goes that 70 cents was amazing to her. So humble she does nothing but talk so positive about that company. It makes me sick they treat her that way and take advantage of her "disability" Shes just a very simple person. Kind of different if you get what I mean, but she is great at her job and only makes 9 something an hour. less than $400/week. I asked her once about retirment and she said shed have to depend on social security because there are no benefits at her job. Yes she is on governmnet assistance and I personally believe she deserves all the help she can get. Just a really good person. Hard worker. She gets used. It angers me. Yet KFC rakes in billions in profit every year. And they say they just could not afford to pay their employees more becuase the shareholders would not agree with less profit.
