Am I the only one to express displeasure at the speed (or perceived lack thereof) of progress on this board? Many people have called for the firing of Bondi or Kash on here, or at least expressed their distrust of one or the other.
I live in a blue state, I really don't think someone who is MAGA would win in it. I never said it was not worth my trouble; I said
There have been great candidates who haven't won, explicitly because of those tactics we see daily. It's worth my trouble, but there is no path to victory, yet.

I think this is an interesting discussion, and I feel like, as I read through your comments to u/DontTreadOnIT I feel like some aspects of your viewpoint are filtering through.
Mutual understanding requires a certain level of engagement aka back and forth, to refine the communication channel so that both sides can achieve a common wavelength. Sometimes its there from the get go, in other cases, it takes time and effort.
I think you make some good, aka understandable points. And, I can also see from some of your comments that your interpretation of what I've written is not the same as mine (meaning, what you get from what I wrote is not the same as what I was attempting to express).
Final comment: I think Don't Tread has simply been attempting to engage with you in a productive way, but text is limited at the best of times, so perhaps be aware that maybe you're not picking up his signal quite as clearly as you think, especially if you think that he's not picking up your signal as clearly as he thinks. (hope you get that).
re: mod tag: I think that the platform automatically inserts that depending on whether a user is logged in simply as <user> or as <moderator>. In earlier comment's Tread was probably simply not logged in as a mod.
All the mods login in as users, or mods, at different times. (Yes, they actually have a schedule and roster to cover the board at certain times.)

I've seen the back-and-forth between "There is a Plan" and "We are the Plan": some people believe that Q is doing everything in the background, and there isn't much for us to do; others think it's up to us, essentially.
Obviously, there are things we regular people can't do that Q are capable of (the heavy lifting), and just as obviously, Q can't run the country lol. So I get that there are things we have to do, like waking people up, filling seats, and so on. The thing I'm personally trying to figure out is where, or maybe when, those two things will meet.
I've talked to some local MAGA people who ran for office, didn't even get 1% of the vote (vote manipulation most likely), and people who ran on the issues, had their names dragged through the mud, their personal lives placed under a microscope, and ultimately bullied into dropping out for just having a different opinion/different approach. These people aren't interested in going through that again, which is a big loss because we then get stuck with RINOs.
And I admit this may have affected my interpretations.

In my profession, I deal directly with language, and I have to be laser focused on the analysis of meaning of words and expressions. There are many types of meaning, actually. For example, in Geoffrey Leech's concept of semantics, he categorizes at least seven different types of meaning. (Leech was a British linguist whose work in that field has been extremely influential in modern linguistic study.)
I just mention this to emphasize that my interpretation of "we are the plan" isn't quite as literal as your comment implies. I was there when 'we are the plan' memes first began to appear.
IMO, the idea of 'we are the plan' is not so much that literally 'it's up to us', although I'd agree some people probably think of it like that. Rather, it is simply a way of expressing "we are important" and "our role in the plan is critical'. NOT its all up to us.
Around the same time, other memes emerged. For example, "We are Q". You see? Obviously, this is not a literal statement. Because, everyone recognized that Q was a team of people making drops online, not the hundreds of thousands (millions?) or Q patriots building the movement.
"We are Q" is a way of saying "we have to have the viewpoint that we and Q are united, we have the same purpose, and we should realize that own ownership of our role is important.
So, personally, I would say the back and forth between people who think Q is doing everything and people who think its up to us essentially is NOT the main or core dynamic here.
I think the smarter, more discerning people don't adopt either view. Rather, "There is a plan" and "We are the plan" are both true, that sure, Q are doing what they do, which as you point out, is things that simply we cannot or could not do, but ALSO that we have a key and important role, which is I think what you've said, basically, when you wrote:
Moving on, I think your comments about people who have attempted to run for public office having bad experiences are perfectly understandable. I cannot speak for Don't Tread, but I'd say his main point was: be active and engaged, local action = national impact, etc.
Obviously, there are different situations. Running for public office is most certainly not the only way to have an impact or 'play our role'. Finding that place, that way to play our role, is the key challenge. Personally, I think it really starts internally, with how we shape our thinking, our attitude, and how we become better people. That's the foundation.
I think Q wanted to get people to snap out of it (the brainwashing), to have hope, to be inspired and determined, and recognize that its worth the effort, because we can (and will) win (me: if we do).
You have walked onto the battlefield in the middle of a raging information war. The people on this board have been independently learning and observing for years. If you want to participate then understand that there is a baseline level of self-education required.
Your line of questioning suggests to me that you have not put in the work. Your attitude suggests that you are not willing. We'll see what happens.
