I think my favorites in these last few years are 1883 and Billy The Kid series. Billy was fighting a secret society that bought the sheriff & the governor.
1883 shows how dangerous it was for the folks who moved to settle the west. I am an old hardened construction worker and I couldn't hold back the tears at the end of the series.
One of my favorites. The Prophet was a very impressive performance. Good movie.
NOTE correction of title below. BWC kindly jogged my memory. I would blame it on old age. But I have never been good at titles or names. Should have taken that Carnegie course.
"Sometimes the things that may or may not be true are the things a man needs to believe in the most. That people are basically good; that honor, courage, and virtue mean everything; that power and money, money and power mean nothing; that good always triumphs over evil; and I want you to remember this, that love... true love never dies. You remember that, boy. You remember that. Doesn't matter if it's true or not. You see, a man should believe in those things, because those are the things worth believing in." (Secondhand Lions, such a wonderful movie)

Always loved Bobby.. 🙏🤍
An odd quote for a man who never had children.
I had the pleasure of having dinner with Mr. Duvall 25 years ago. A gentleman and a genius.

I thought it was called The Apostle.

Well written, well acted.
Watched Days of Thunder after hearing him pass, this guy just had a great presence.
My favorite Robert Duvall movie is Second Hand Lions.
Never seen that one, I'll have to check it out.
How does his having no children make that an odd quote? Also, is it a certainty that he has no children?
