Consider what Jesus cried out while DYING on the cross….
“My God, my God. Why hast thou forsaken me?”
This is a direct quote from Psalm 22. This chapter is basically a list of the RECORDED happenings surrounding His cricifiction. Jesus, while dying, was directing the Jewish people to the exact place in their sacred text explaining what was going on.
Anyone denying Him at this point will be denied before the Father in heaven. He will never be erased, but instead be PRAISED for all eternity by believers!
Yes, "Yeshu" was a name first and a backronym was applied to it, as it related to three or more Jews of different eras each rejected by the Jews of their day. This has not been seriously applied by any Jewish movement as if someone had openly said the name of the Nazarene should literally be removed from history. Rather, rabbis are more disposed to say (as Netanyahu recently said) Jesus was Jewish and can be reclaimed as a Jewish visionary who did much good for many generations and races of people.
Yes, rabbis regard "Messianic Jews" as not Jews but Christians, contrary to the Messianics' own testimony and heritage.
Yes, Jesus is seen as a forbidden personality among Jews (Yair Zakovitz).
Yes, those who speak in favor of Jesus often come under attack in Jewish society as assimilationists (Tzvi Sadan).
FUNNY! None of this has anything to do with "Israeli rabbis caught red-handed on tape, openly declaring Jesus’s name must be wiped from history, erased like it never existed." It only relates to the fact that honest Jews openly admit that Jews would rather ignore Jesus if possible. This is why Jews For Jesus makes its mission out to be making the messiahship of Jesus an unavoidable issue for Jews everywhere.
Didn't they try that at the cross? And now the name of Christ is glorified in Heaven and earth. Still they try to build a tower, they (like Cain) are determined to come to God on their own terms, despising the (very) thought of bowing their knee and confessing their sin, yes, trampling under foot, the blood of Christ counting it as nothing. How then shall they escape condemnation?
They still haven’t learned what happens when they piss off God.

I just learned this. Still gives me chills.
They have been trying this for 2000 years
