Exactly made it an entirely different game In my mind diluted the wiin. You win with five or you lose with five, but you don't change how the game is played, overtime or not. And you have to call the game by the rules blatant,too many men on the ice(twice) has to be called, in all fairness. Democrats cheat to win, US hockey players don't have to, the non calls are not the players fault, but still leaves a sour taste.
I understand and don't mind 3 on 3 during the NHL season, but there's a reason it goes away for the playoffs.
With all the speed and skill on the ice, the OT wasn't going to last very long. Unfortunately for Canada, they got caught up ice first.
