I would not put it past the IRGC. People underestimate their ruthlessness. They don't play by the rules. It appears that they may have even used cluster munitions in their attack on Tel Aviv tonight that were overwhelming the air defense systems.
I know several Iranians and have heard the horror stories from them. This evil must be removed and we are the only ones strong enough to do it. Their reign of terror must end. They will not stop.
As far as the downvote, I have my suspicions, but I will keep them to myself. No sense stirring the pot. It gains nothing when dealing with haters.
Note in Trumps speech yesterday, he noted that there was a threat, a clear and present danger threat, although he did not use those terms, he noted the seriousness of that threat.
Now, Catherine Herridge, who is known for her correct reporting comes out with this. .... (even Q referenced her several times)
So, I am not so sure that this is a ploy to achieve a result.
A secondary consideration is a nuclear program. Let's hypothetize:
Iran pursues a Uranium program
Iran pursues a Thorium program.
To get there there are isotopes created. I am still reading up on it. So, I may be wrong here.

All nuclides (Ac-209 through Ac-233) are radioactive. Ac-227 occurs naturally in the decay series of U-235

This isotope is almost always present in a mixture with other isotopes characteristic of the decay chain of thorium-232.
Thorium-232 is a fertile isotope that can be used in nuclear reactors to produce energy by capturing neutrons and transforming into uranium-233, which is fissile. It is more abundant than uranium and has potential advantages for safer and more efficient nuclear power generation, although it has not yet been widely adopted for commercial use.
Although Actinium has a half life of 6 to 7 hours, the sought for effects are rather panic and fear (i.e. terrorism). Compare this to the weapon: Davy Crocket (neutron bomb) which is designed to achieve instant death but leaving the infrastructure untouched.
The use of dirty bombs could be perceived as crossing a threshold ...
did. not ever think of du and dirty bombs / warheads before, but I’ve read a little on du,I will read up on itmore, I read it is terrible and has led to deformities, Iraq, and harm in Serbia, and some must have been used in Ukraine

assessment and thoughts sound right, my Persian -American friends would have similar thoughts, not sure why someone would downvote your assessment

We are talking Dirty Bombs here.

great coverage of the variables to consider from CH’s post, Pres. Trump’s speech, and the attack to help liberate Iran

about the comment that detection of these isotopes would not have been detectable, and another posted “ask Grok”:
Grok confirmed that each of the 3 radioactive isotopes, byproducts of radioactive decay processes, were detectable
With the right equipment, these isotopes certainly could be detected.
thanks for the verification of the scientific abilities to detect!
Appaling, and this is why the US shouldn't use depleted uranium

Meanwhile Israel continues to still be the biggest threat to America.
