While I don't see any direct connection between Greenland and the Strait of Hormuz, other than open see and shipping lanes, I would prefer to see Trump annex Greenland anyway, regardless of what the Euro-trash does.
Inviting the EU/NATO nations to participate in cleaning up Hormuz seems to me more Kabuki Theater, their participation being largely symbolic and to show they actually have skin in the game. I'm certain we could make the Strait peaceful and safe on our own.
By (their) refusal to join in, maybe Trump is showing to the world that the EU-NATO nations DON'T have skin in the game, and they can return to their continued irrelevancy.

European countries (in NATO) really need to stop and think about what is going on and what they are signalling to their enemies. Hint - extreme weakness.
If the US leaves NATO, do they think they will be safe? They have already been overrun by invaders. Much of Africa seems to be living there now. They cant (or won't) stop their own citizens from being raped/stabbed/killed. They essentially have small standing armies in their countries waiting for the chance to take over.
Now think about the many military bases we have in European countries. If we pull out I think the invaders would immediately take those bases (like the Taliban did), thus giving them a safe and secure base of operations to complete their takeover/caliphate(s).

That's a grim reality, but quite possible. Then the responsibility for Western Civilization and Christianity would fall on America.
