I have done this before. I filed two complaints against the University of Akron with the state Civil Rights Commission during COVID and won them both. I reported on it here and haven’t been doxxed. I also had two complaints through the state AGs office, one still active, but passed down to a sub division. I haven’t mentioned those here because they were against local crooked businesses.

I needed to approve this manually because new users are restricted for a while.
As an engineer I have a theory that I do not think is being widely discussed. Many electrical devices contain Metal Oxide Varistors for surge suppression. The wiki page about these devices talks about those little devils catching fire TWICE. Many indoor devices also contain MOVs but in those cases a fuse or circuit breaker mitigates most of the risk. Some MOVs designed to fail in a safe manner. Would you bet your house or your life on the Chinese not swapping those out for an inferior product? Nope! I found some smart meter reference designs online and those contained MOVs. The only thing which needs to be proven is that actual smart meters contain MOVs. And it would be neat to apply sustained overvoltage and see what happens.
The important bit you left out:
MOV's Do NOT reset. Ever, under any circumstances. They have a limited life, and get 'used up'. Once the MOV runs out, they become inoperable and stop preventing fires.
This applies even if you have high quality American made parts. The Chinese will just fake it, put in shitty MOV's, or none at all. Even if you don't have one of the 'shitty' Chinese scap items, the 'good' ones still have the same issue, you are just kicking the can down the road further.
There used to be a lot of videos on you tube of these "smart" meters starting fires, burning up, showing them on fire, and showing evidence that the house fire started with the smart meter. Of course all these videos were pulled.
This device makes perfect sense for globalists bent on genocide. At any time, they could theoretically send a message to your smart meter causing it to catch fire and burn your house down with your kids inside. They could also do it en mass, aka the Paradise, Maui or LA fires.
Pro tip: avoid anything with the word "smart" in front of it.

I would love to hear updates on your progress, especially since I'm in Ohio. Funny thing about my story with opting out, the first time I opted out for our main residence, it was clear-cut and hassle-free (other than the ridiculous extortion fee). The most recent opt out for our secondary home I actually had a guy call me from AEP trying to subtly talk me out of it and poke around for info on why I wanted to opt out. I was polite but firm with opting out and did not divulge my reasons. Godspeed BerlinWall Crosser, I'd love to hear updates about this (especially since I'm in Ohio)!
I’m aware of the Cuyahoga Falls lawsuit since I live in the same county. I even shared some of my materials with the law firm handling the case. I don’t know if they used it, but they took it and thanked me for it. That city made the mistake of mandating it on all residents.

Last I researched we have a law that offers the opt-out passed in 2014. Hopefully their mistake bites them in the rear. Pretty neat your daughter and husband live in Stark!

I had ours removed last summer. Paid for it and pay extra monthly for the meter reader. I had it removed primarily for the fire hazard and the EMF radiation they produce. I noticed a huge improvement in my headaches once it was removed. Of course, the "Industry" says the readings are within acceptable limits. 🤣
I’m fighting the monthly charges for not having one, but I’m using the safety issue as the reason. Also, the Public Utilities Commission set a charge that companies can use without showing how the amount was arrived at.

Enter smart meter in the GAW search and you can find some good material. The best one was the PG&E former meter reader speaking against smart meters at a public meeting. I also found a good video on Rumble on what smart meters do to blood cells. I also found a cbc news story on the Province of Saskatchewan ordering the removal of 105.000 smart meters in 2014. I also had many videos of smart meter fires. Still, before I went to the hearing, I wanted to see if anyone had something I may have missed. Sure enough two people here gave two very valuable resources that I can use. The people here at GAW are the best collection of researchers I have ever been associated with and that includes my time in a university system.
