I'm with you on that head scratching point. How to get rid of bad judges. But I think Q already has the solution. Seems we pedes are always one step behind Qs ability to figure out answers to key problems in America.
Simple first step. ANY “judge” who released a criminal, ignoring minimum sentence, where that criminal goes on to commit a further crime is fired.
If the criminal act results in damages, the judge is responsible for the compensation.
If the criminal act results in death, then the judge is put on death row with hard labour until execution.
Judges are literally given the power of life and death, if they don’t have the moral conviction, intelligence or foresight to respect the seriousness of their role, then they don’t deserve our respect or trust.
Ultimately they are just public servants in black robes. They need to earn our respect to justify their relatively unaccountable position.
Citizens MUST have the right to remove ANY public servant directly, by means of a simple petition, without the say or input of other public servants (government).
I don' think this is practical at all. Sounds nice, emotionally satisfying for some, but completely impractical.
A judge cannot be directly responsible for someone else's actions. You'd never get anyone at all to take on being a judge.
But, some steps could be implemented.
For example, if a criminal improperly released causes damage further hurt, the judge could be held criminally negligible. So then, impeached and removed. With penalties for professional negligence similar to how other professions are held to be professionally responsible.
The idea that a judge can simply be 'fired' doesn't work on the federal level or on the state level in most cases.
I do agree that citizens must have more power to remove problem judges.
I’m in Ireland. We have some serious issues here. I don’t think voting will solve them.
Our public servants have been completely subverted by globalist scum. The EU dictates what happens in Ireland, “our” government is only there for optics.
Torches and pitchforks? Tar and Feathers? The pressure from these judges is eventually going to hit the wrong person or people, and things will get out of hand.
Kind of like those cases we've all seen or heard about where some scum pedo ends up raping and murdering someone's child and eventually gets probation - or is acquitted. Then the grieving father shows up at court and kills the perp. Now that grieving father (and his family) will have to suffer the rest of his life thanks to the scum perp - and the scum judge.
