It may be illegal for them to pay the fee (if required), so they may have to undo this honor or Trump has to waive the licensing fee. Trump appears to have made his company the owner of all of his intellectual property, likeness, etc.
It's already been litigated - you cannot TM a surname. See the case about Dale Earnhardt (his widow attempted to sue her stepson Kerry for naming his company "The Earnhardt Collection")

The proposal was first introduced in January. Supporters pointed to Trump’s longstanding ties to Palm Beach County, including his residence at Mar-a-Lago. That same month, a portion of Southern Boulevard, the main roadway connecting the airport to Mar-a-Lago, was renamed President Donald J. Trump Boulevard.
