For years at least half of Republican picks were approved first by democrats. If you are a lawless political party, you would want to have the judiciary wrapped up in DC. Every opportunity had to be given. So no legitimate doubts could linger. There will be MANY illegitimate ones but they were already decided or bought and paid for long ago.
