I'm running the other direction, just need to finish rewiring my '54 Hudson and get started on a '56 Caddy. Screw those busy-body arseholes.
They will say your cars are death traps and find a way to ban them. Then you will be forced to purchase one of their $100K spy mobiles. Big brother wants additional ways to spy on you because your phone can only collect so much personal data.
You will never see a "this year" car 60 years later. Congrats on a couple trustworthy cars
My dad and me are building a 1934 Plymouth 4 door... he has a 1935 Nash, my mom has a Chopped Mercury and I currently drive one of my ma's which is a 34 Ford 4 door... it's so much fun!!! Can't wait till my 34 is done!!! I bet those 2 cars of yours are pretty cool...
We are restoring a vw beetle. Talking about a blast from the past, lol. Seems like everyone that sees it says they’ve had one in their youth. It’s almost ready to drive. We will actually drive it around town, not just sit it in the garage. 😊🚗
I've owned 18 air-cooled vws. Oldest was a '57 bug. Just sold a '66 a few months ago. 2 liter stroker. 120 mph
That’s so cool! Ours is a ‘72, with a ragtop. I know they didn’t make ‘72’s with ragtops, but the first or second owner decided to make it a ragtop. Husband is having a heck of a time with putting on the new ragtop because it’s not the same size as other ragtops, so we had to get it specially made. You know how it is, everything doesn’t go back together like it was taken off 🙄 One step forward and 5 back, lol. We would have loved getting an older bug, but this is what we found at the time. We were hoping to do some shows this year but it’s taken us a while to find the right people to help with the engine, paint and upholstery. Right now we are just trying to get everything put back together.
