The Europeans also don't understand why the U.S. will NEVER be militarily invaded by any nation.
Everyone in the U.S. becomes an armed warrior. There will be teens and great grandparents, people of all stripes who will be an armed threat to any invader. There will be a gun hiding behind every blade of grass.
Europeans have disarmed themselves. We are not the same.

My gut is telling me there is way more to this story than we’re being told. I believe we extracted a down crewman. I just don’t believe that’s all we extracted. Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t recall ever hearing a search and rescue operation referred to as a raid.
