It is complicated. But I am good with if Iran doesn't escalate and the US doesn't escalate things, let the proxies on both sides duke it out. Yemen seems to be the wild card in this scenario.

Why would you want to 'take out' a man who is for defeating the Islamic regime and restoring the Iran of his father who did not make women wear burqas and treat them like slaves and cattle? This man has been living in the U.S. in exile after his father (the former Shah) was murdered and removed from power.
To me, it sounds like he would be the perfect ally to have as a ruler in the absence of any other better candidate.
His father was ousted because of dictator and authoritarian rule. It was actually worse than the current regime and Pahlavi wants that power back. Pahlavi already stated that once he is back in the throne, there will be no need for any elections. Pahlavi will rule the military, government, banking, businesses.
Sorta like Tito did in Yugoslavia.

We took the exit, this could have turned into a real humanitarian crisis. That is not Trump's style. Trump is "lets take it but leave it better than it was" or at least the same as it was. Now the US won't have forever repair bills, migration problems, high death tolls, rescues of welfare, and, very important to us, expensive battle debts.
Honestly i would've been okay with Iranians in the usa, they're like the big boots Latinas of the middle east 🤭
