On April 7 around 2:20pm at Pauls Valley High School in Oklahoma, 20-year-old former student Victor Hawkins entered the lobby armed with a gun. Principal Kirk Moore (60, 35+ years in the district) and staff immediately confronted him. Moore tackled/subdued Hawkins and was shot in the leg (non-life-threatening). Multiple rounds fired but no students or other staff injured. Hawkins arrested on site. Moore airlifted to OU Health in OKC, stable and recovering. Classes canceled Wed.
