I did a double take this morning - had Newsmax on & they were reporting on the City of London - essentially responsible for all the Iran bullshit. I almost fell over.

Now granted, Newsmax is fairly based - certainly more than Faux News, but they're still a news site.... and nobody - I do mean NOBODY on ANY news show for as far back as I can remember, has EVER even hinted at the existence, let alone shortcomings/phuckery of CoL - like EVER!

So... the tide has turned. A major news outlet has mentioned & called out the CoL... Hopefully they keep it up.... there's still many who haven't gotten a peek behind the curtain...

I watched this episode after dinner tonight... Susan was spot on as usual. And Britain woefully lame. Allegedly, they haven't updated their military rules of engagement and strategies since the cold war.... I guess they thought team USA would just continue fighting their wars...

Look, I don't know how much credence I can give to "Muh British Empire" has controlled the Straight of Hormuz when the straight has been always open forever. Sure you need insurance, blah blah, but insurance is a risk-pricing that applies to all shipping routes. Fact is, the Hormuz straight has never been a flashpoint for insurance claims due to terrorism. Where is the evidence? Anyone can insure. The issues started AFTER conflict broke out.

Honestly this British Empire talk seems to me like a cover story. There was never any extortion based on straight access (please, tell me when that ever happened). Again, ANYONE can write insurance, not just Lloyds.

This just doesn't scan. Way too convenient. Those countries happen to be on the list, with Iran, of the countries slated for the US to "take-out" after 911. That was absolutely NOT a British plan.

Afghanistan, incidentally, was not on the list, the others were Somalia, Sudan and guess what? Lebanon.

Please, tell me again where this plan originated?
