Notice that he has implemented a naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz only AFTER strategically decimating the leadership and military capacity of the regime and neutralizing their missile capabilities which would have otherwise jeopardized our ships conducting this mission. Itās brilliant! I was worried at the beginning of this conflict with Iran, but once Trump flipped the script after the negotiations broke down by announcing a blockade of Iranās blockade of the Hormuz chokepoint, I have felt comfy ever since. This is a highly strategic realignment of Middle Eastern geopolitics and international energy policy. It looks like it might be a masterpiece of military statecraft. And if you connect the dots of the Iranian theater with what has happened in Venezuela and what is shaping up with the Strait of Malacca, it looks like Trump is fatally dismantling the strategic energy underpinnings Chinaās Belt and Road Initiative WITHOUT direct military engagement.
