Why are the dems running away from their congressional seats? I thought they were the party of free love, have sex with anyone you want, and they didn't care about repercussions from their sexual actions. Yet they seem worried. It should be their badge of honor to have an investigation shine light on their behaviors. Then they can defend their actions. This makes no sense to me.
I think we will see many Repubs in these records too. This slush fund has been talked about for many years --- Power attracts the corruptible. Term limits would take away some of their power.
my guess is that most of the republicans are no longer in congress but democrats have a lot more current politicians connected to the fund. my reasoning is that dems have weaponized everything and that a lot of republican voters will not vote for a politician if they even smells of this type of activity will not vote for the person.
House should get 2 terms, all assets managed by a 3rd party with no contact to Rep or family, and passport surrendered to State Dept. Reps do NOT need to travel internationally in the course of their duties & responsibilities.
Repeal the 17th Amendment, let the State worry about how long a Senator is in office - as designed.
No way in hell should our political servants have a slush fund to cover up their crimes. Our taxpayer dollars should NOT be part of criminal activity coverup. Whomever came up with this idea and whoever voted to allow this to occur needs to be removed from office.

You may be right but I have read rumors of Lindsay Graham, for one, who has been brought up with relation to the slush fund.
