A major manhunt is underway after an alleged assassination attempt on a high-ranking government official moments ago!
It happened outside their home in Washington, D.C.
The official, who remains unnamed at this time, was extracted by a heavily armed Capital Police unit.

The house went on recess at 2:30pm and reconvened at 11:20pm (or thereabouts) to vote on the FISA extension. The bill to extend it to 2027 failed but it looks like they passed one to reauthorize until the end of April.
I'm interested in the timing of when the shooter showed up outside the residence. I don't know the process of being called back from recess.. do they know the time in advance, or do they get a call/notification?
I'm guessing the shooter already knew the representative would be leaving the building at that time. Just a hunch.
Gonna be very interesting if and when they I.D. the shooter.
Who would be the cabals biggest enemy right now? Steven Miller?? Who else? Any guesses?

In front of the Courtyard Marriott Capitol Hill Hotel? Are there residences there as well? I'm not familiar with DC at all. And what's with the theatrical movie music and weird speed on that video clip? The number of LEOs, relaxed demeanors and overall sense of this reads like a standard security procedure, not a tense terrorism situation. Pointing flashlights on the ground? If they were looking for shell casings they'd be moving slower and in a grid pattern. And whoever took the video is just strolling amongst them? Sorry, this looks hinky AH to my eye, not what the X poster claims.
A brief search on news for "assassination" and on "manhunt" come up with nothing. Calling 72-hour rule on this...

Edit: The only "news" I came up with is from a search on "shooter in DC today" from a Townhall article that claims there might have been a targeted attack by a shooter in the vicinity of where an official lives, but that shootings in DC are not unusual.

The black SUV seen in the video is an armored Chevrolet Suburban used by leaders of Congress and members of the President’s cabinet.
It is UNCLEAR if this was a targeted attack, but the alleged shooter is NOT in custody, and police are searching the area.
I personally witnessed that official be EXTRACTED via undercover Capitol Police officers, protected by uniformed officers carrying long rifles
I will not name the official without their express permission, as I don’t want to dox their home.
Other officers can be seen sweeping the area for evidence like shell casings.
