The pre-tribulation Rapture the belief that Jesus will secretly return to evacuate Christians before a period of great tribulation is the single most recent major doctrine in Christianity. No Church Father taught it. No medieval theologian. Not Luther. Not Calvin. Not Wesley. Nobody until John Nelson Darby in 1830. One man invented it. One Bible (the Scofield Reference Bible, 1909) spread it to millions. And novels and movies turned it into the default eschatology of American evangelicalism. This video traces the full history and reveals the one Greek word in 1 Thessalonians 4 that Rapture theology completely ignores.

ABOUT THIS CHANNEL
Ancient Faith Explained explores what the early Church actually believed and practiced. We examine Scripture, the Church Fathers, and 2,000 years of history for honest dialogue between Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant Christians.
Rapture, if it were true (and since its theory is central to the second coming) would be mentioned in the Holy Scriptures…. but it’s not.
It’s not because it’s a false teaching. Additionally, it’s evil and deceptive. Most believe that if they somehow get “left behind”, they still have a chance of Salvation.
Ironclad? Wow. Nah, the apostle Paul described it in 1 Thes 4. He was the one who "invented" the rapture. But as Dave at X22 Report says, "we will have to wait and see how this plays out."
Actually Paul described a different event. It is based on the one where citizens from a city or installation go to meet a guest of honor right outside the city and give him/her an escort. One example is President Trump receiving a police escort to an event outside of Washington.
Probably already happened before 70 AD "all these things will soon come to pass" pops up in my mind....Or if not it will happen 1000 years from now when everything is so different that we will have no frame of reference....Be careful what you wish for though because you might get pulled up in the air right before the sealed indictments drop 😂. Q has a good sense of humor and we know the mill has the tech to do this.
All you have to do is read what Jesus said about the second coming.
No one knows when it will happen. NO one knows how it will happen. Anyone who says when or how its going to happen is lying.
also, Matthew 24:34; Mark 13:30; and Luke 21:32.
Right on.

Good grief….🤣🤣🤣
What a dumb video.

Rapture is a lie.
Why should I believe an AI generated voice and narrative?

I wouldn’t mind watching the arrests from heaven or earth.
