Damn. I look back on my Navy time, on all the weapons and munitions to come out as part of the military's arsenal, and the weapons systems converted to civilian use since I was in from 95-04. Had I even considered to buy stocks in just 1/10th of the companies that DOD/DOW does business with, I'd have generational wealth type money for myself and my family. And not just my kids and grandkids. I'd have generational type wealth for my WHOLE family. Tons of Veterans could be super wealthy right now had it ever occured to us to think and work like these asshats do.
Then again, if more of us did, this society would be even worse off than it is right now.
I feel like a sucka after reading this post and looking back over just my naval career and all the tech I knew was coming and seeing how the disclosures of them made untold amounts of people รผber wealthy.
I left the Navy in July of 1966-had I been more aware of the hippie mode going on, I would have bought many bell bottom dungerees and made a fortune; OTOH, knowing and doing takes something I didn't have then.๐
The following gives you the basics of the "birth" of The Stock Act, which is a license to steal. It's from Wikipedia, which tells you how in your face the crooks have been operating
"The Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge (STOCK) Act of 2012 (Pub. L. 112โ105 (text) (PDF), S. 2038, 126 Stat. 291, enacted April 4, 2012) is an act of Congress designed to combat insider trading. It was signed into law by President Barack Obama on April 4, 2012. The law prohibits the use of non-public information for private profit, including insider trading, by members of Congress and other government employees. It confirms changes to the Commodity Exchange Act and specifies reporting intervals for financial transactions."
AFTER THOUGHT NOTE: As always, the title is the reverse of the real purpose, just like The Affordable Healthcare Act.
You cannot see into the future. Do not beat yourself up over your observations. Just realizrme the corruption is coming to an end. I'd like generational wealth also, but I gotta do it the old fashion way, I work, toil and labor for it. It is good for the body and soul.
None of us should actually need generational wealth. Eliminating the waste, fraud and abuse in high places should provide everyone with secure, full and abundant lives.

And I hate feeling like a damned sucka.
Thatโs the difference between being honourable and being a treasonous rat public parasite.
