Correct-When breeding cows, one side (male ir female) is bringing desired traits or breeding into the lineage. So the qustion becomes. "Why did Charles need to bring Diana into the mix?" There is a reason.
Maybe that long line of reptiles needs an actual human once every so many generations.
I remember way back then, the protocol was the prince needed to marry a virgin and they had to look pretty far to find one - thus, landing on the shy, 19-year-old preschool teacher from the good family. The sweet, introverted Diana was swept up into the process and barely knew what hit her.
Camilla was Charles' former lover and first choice but she was divorced and so was 'not acceptable'.
But, he continued having an affair with her the entire time he was married to Diana. Diana learned about it the night before the wedding. There's one photo of her in her wedding dress the day of their wedding where she looks exceedingly sad. Now we know why. She said Charles slept in a different bedroom from her while they were married. She once allegedly picked up a phone extension and overheard Charles talking with Camilla and describing how much lust he had for her and what he was planning on doing to her the next time they had an opportunity. Diana was crushed.
