To me it's a sign that Th People don't even believe it's "political violence" any longer. I believe that deep down The People inherently know, maybe on a sub-concious level they can't explain, that this is a war for huamnity's freedom. It would also explain why The People haven't admitted it openly yet, excepting us here, MAGA, and the relative few others on social media. The greater public isn't willing to openly admit this yet due to the fear they still hold.
I agree. You make an interesting point I want to add something to - Both sides, in this political bifurcation of the nation, hold common ground with the understanding (conscious or not) that this is a critical battle for the fate of humanity.
I think this adds weight to the anxiety and/or desperation some people feel and it inflames fanatical zealots who would be martrys to do things like the reports in this OP. Different values held by each side, at the end of the day, are why one side has a higher tally of enacting violence for political purposes (aka terrorism) more than the other.
