Yeaaaaaaahhhh..we are selling our gasoline to the world, thus OUR prices are going up because of supply and demand. Pinched supply along with 121 tankers means scarcity in the supply of gasoline. Thus our current cost is $4/gal. Grrrr.... let the world pump/refine their own stinking gas and leave us alone. I want cheaper gas prices.
Whatttttt!!!!!!!!??????? That is outrageous. If we had $6 gas here in MO. there would be riots and pitchforks. I really hope our national gasoline prices will be coming down, soon. But, I feel we have to bear some pain first, for whatever reason Q has in mind, so we have a path to that cheap gas.
I doubt in the short term our reserves will be depleted, but over the next 50-100 years we'd better figure out how to dig up new oil fields or lessen our dependence on oil to move our cars.
Or just go back to our old oil fields and start pumping them again. It’s called fossil fuel for nothing because it is technically renewable in that old fields come back. We don’t know exactly how it’s created and just maybe it’s 100% renewable and not related to fossils.
What about our refining capacity? I live in a small rural town that has a Phillips refinery. It is one of refineries that has a coker unit. I'm not sure what the output is.
Yep. I bet it's cheap because our tax dollars are subsidizing their oil patch. Get the criminals out of Congress and i bet a lot of "America First" laws will get passed, quickly.

I have to travel to schools because I am a guest teacher/substitute, it is not good.
I can't help but wonder the same. Will this deplete what we need for ourselves?

Gas is still (very) cheap in the middle east.
