Question, is it a stretch to go here: authoritarian in her mind = Slavery - when it is Dems & Rinos policies that are authoritarian? Maybe stretching it , but I think this is a part of her mindset, either as a true believer or as a manipulation tool.

The South is the least racist area in America. There more interracial interactions in the South. We eat the same food. Southerners worship together at 11 00 Sundays. Southerners are more courteous. They have, and they’ve tended to focus on the south, not the north, and when focusing on the south, they’ve ignored the problems that were being fought for that were separate from slavery, as well as any sort of nuance regarding slavery.
The south fought for it -> the south is white -> “white fights for racism” (ignore the ironic hypocrisy of that statement)
