We consumers should BENEFIT from the US strength of energy independence and the black gold taken out of our own soil!

Strategic in multiple ways. It won’t be too much longer. Normally there is a bit of a lag in gas prices going down because they have to sell the high price gas in the gas station tank first. But Trump may get them to expedite the process.
Why can't us citizens understand that we DO NOT get our oil from overseas? US gas prices are "price gouging" greedy companies right here in the USA.

California does get about 70% of its oil overseas. Ridiculously.
The US imports 40% of its oil, the majority of that from Canada.

Cheap gas by summer was always the plan. Now with Iran under his thumb and BRICS bashed into oblivion, Trump sets the prices.
