I’m loving this. The same college (supposedly) educated, holders of useless degrees always looked down on us guys in the trades. Looks like more and more of them will be easily replaced by AI, and out of work. Can’t wait to look down on them next time I go to Starbucks, where they’ll be serving us tradesmen
Can’t wait to look down on them next time I go to Starbucks, where they’ll be serving us tradesmen...STARBUCKS !! try to be smarter than the average college student , find some good coffee
Ha ha! Absolutely! The only reason I mentioned starbutts is because that’s where most of these Libtardeds end up working. Low hanging fruit to taunt with rich irony
"The irony is that many skilled trades now pay better than white-collar office jobs requiring massive student debt. Experienced welders, industrial mechanics, elevator technicians, and plumbers are increasingly earning six-figure incomes while many university graduates struggle under student loans and face growing AI displacement risks in administrative office work."
We just used a 55 ton crane, $300/hr., operator was maybe 28. He said he invested $10k in all his certs and training. He worked for us on a Saturday, and I know his Friday wrapped up about 7 pm.
Your paying for the crane out of that, but good income for the operator and owners.
I have kids who work in construction and longshoremen. They are begging for heavy equipment operators and laborers training is fast and available in most areas and ya gotta pass a drug test.
Supply and demand. On both sides. Too many college graduates (many with useless degrees) and too few in the trades (especially good ones who speak English).
If we see Biden/kameltoe or love trumps hate bs, they immediately get charged more. It's just that simple. Trump supporters get a discount. It all evens out. IYKYK - That's EXACTLY how it works in the real world where your hands get dirty. Right boys?
Yeah, because tjere are only a few courses of university study that actually are productive. Even education studies are bullshit. Medical and engineering and what falls under those are about all universities teach of value. The rest is liveral arts douchebaggery and institutions arent needed to promote them.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, your Masters is great, but spell my name right on my cup. "

Bachelors became so normalized masters was the next scam. Never ending supply demand.
And the jobs actually exist.
Very few majors nowadays lead to real jobs.

People should have listened to Mike Rowe years ago.
