It (the term C T ) was trotted out by the CIA in the 1960s. It was designed to keep the truth from being main streamed by the public.
When you dig into the origins of the apparently disparate entities of what we might call, "The Powers That Be", you find that Conspiracy Theory/Theorist, Anti-Semite, and Heresy/Heretic all come from the same place, and control the narrative for the same reasons.
This method of controlling the narrative (the Play Book), and the people employing it (the PTB), has been going on for a very long time.
Unfortunately, there are still FAR TOO MANY buying that crap. My mom tells me to my face she knows its lies, she doesn't watch it. Til 2 days later, she spewing CNN top headline like she had an epiphany. Very frustrating.

I'd rather see the term defanged by our owning of it. A conspiracy theorist is not unlike what a Politburo Watcher was during the cold war era: someone who seriously studies the plans and hidden power structure of a mortal adversary. Except that everyone acknowledges that the Politburo was the Soviet's center of central planning. So there was not the gaslighting that one is subjected to in attempting to study the Cabal.
Fake news was a term designed to mock us pizzagate researchers. Trump reversed it and used it against the MSM. CT should also be reversed and used as a badge of honor. Yeah, I'm a conspiracy theorist and proud of it.
I'm a Conspiracy Theorist, but I'm running out of theories as all the conspiracies get proven.
Honestly, I don't know what to believe anymore. It seems our whole life is a lie. From fossil oil to the strawman concept from the music industry to 5G, our world is designed to distract, suppress and exploit the normal people. I'm even not sure about the shape of our planet.
I'm certain about the shape of our planet. Anyone who's spent much time at sea knows the world is round because they've seen it for themselves.
Most everything else is up for grabs.

Unfortunately, 90% of Democrats are totally saturated by MSM, and until MSM are forced to tell the truth, they will continue to be subject to the MSM lies, distortions, and omissions.
