In a city with 3.8+M, meaning that there’s around 2M eligible voters, why are the numbers so low? I know it’s a primary, but after the events of the last two years, I thought the turnout would be higher. Also, if polls closed 15 hours ago, why has only 63% of the vote been counted at this point?
Every story and post by the crazy lady has comments that are 99% against her, or making fun of her. How the heck did she get enough votes to already move on? Pratt has supporters all across the US, you would think people in LA would get their butts in gear and vote for him! I can't believe the people, after the publicity on this election, are so apathetic. There's something else going on here, there's no WAY bass has that many votes, or that she got them so quickly.
As a math teacher, you should know that math is one of those "necessary but insufficient" qualifications to solve the notoriously tricky word problems encountered in real-life settings.
This problem can only be solved with knowledge of political bureaucracy and logic, and only then the basic arithmetic can be applied.

None of the homeless they signed up voted, so all the missing votes can now be created and mailed in.

Unless and until the Save Act is passed and all 50 states adopt a similar state law, you can't believe anything related to polls or votes.

I would guess when votes are created between now and official closing of the election, neither Pratt or Hilton will be in novembers election.
