FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! 🤛
I would absolutely make them rue the day. At 84 years old, life in prison isn't to much of a deterrent. I'm going to make the best 85 year-old warrior, because I won't GAF. Killdozer........
Updoot for killdozer…
He wants to move the historic building, but their offer is too low. HECK the AZ government should pay to move it and grant it historical preservation!
Agreed.
You are right.
Shouldn't matter. University isn't the state, eminent domain should be rejected with prejudice by the courts the government backing it is utterly irrelevant. This isn't a highway or railroad that can't be rerouted, people can drive to a satellite campus like they do in every city in every 1st world country.
Yes it is an abuse of "eminent domain" pure and simple, but how do ordinary householders fight it? Lawyers cost money.
Exactly!!
Everyone knows "medical centers" are a giant profit generator, that's why every college and existing hospital keeps building bigger and better ones all the time. It's just another angle of a money grab. My guess is the area doesn't need more beds or doctors. ASU just wants more money, which is not in the public interest.
I have a good feeling someone is going to help out in moving this historical home to a much, much better location....
Oh, and fuck ASU!
Epstein had ties to ASU iirc
Why should a university have the right to claim anything?
The University system....
That's an old ass house. He needs to file for historical preservation
The house probably sits where the ASU president want to make his new office.
