Just the normal Sports Riots that happen sometimes after Teams Wins. In this case it was the Knicks winning a NBA game. Kinda thing that rarely makes the news.
Given it’s difficult to paint it in a partisan light. As they often occur regardless of which party is in control of the local area and area demographics.
So there’s no angle to portray. Beyond the general disorder and chaos that comes when Drunk/inebriated Assholes congregate in large numbers.
Speaking of the Pony Express…Went to the Pony express museum in St. Joe, Mo. a few years ago. It was pretty cool to see where it started. I had no idea it lasted less than two years due to the building of the telegraph lines. The infrastructure was a major undertaking for the time, and to have it go out of business so soon was heartbreaking.
For those unaware. It was a Sport Riot. The Knicks pulled off a win at a game against the Spurs.
Which as per usual in this case. Led to Drunk/High Fans starting shit with Spurs fans. And the general chaos and disorder one can expect when large quantities of drunk/high assholes with low impulse control congregate in large numbers.
Riots, in NYC? I haven't heard a peep about that, I'm in the Midwest, though. Our lines of communication are still supported by the pony express.

There is an angle, but it's quite inconvenient.

Oh, just like in France when PSG won UCL again? (To be fair, winning or losing often results in destruction in France...)
Yes. Or LA when the Lakers win. Or Philadelphia when the Eagles won the Superbowl in 2018. Or Chicago when the Bulls kept winning in the 90s.
Just random death, destruction, and chaos for the sake of death, destruction, and chaos. All because a team won a sporting event.
"Mamdani Offers $30/Hour For Post-Riot Cleanup"
... some headline soon, probably.
Madonna's BBL granny fanny caused a tornado
Ew. Please tell me that creature did not really get an obvious BBL.
