this is the plan to get us out of our older cars and to not be able to resurrect the much older cars. probably to build a data center on top. cash for clunkers just wasn't enough so they want to burn what's left. There is a lot of history in these yards, a lot of classic cars and usable parts to keep our cars going. I'm pissed off. HOW are these happening?!
Um…clash for clunkers was the beginning. Ford actually said they are fine with their cars being too technical to work on…more money for their dealerships…
Ford retains that right.
Yes, corporations retain the right to be shitty…who said they didn’t have that right?
The trouble with visiting sites like this one is that it makes you very suspicious!
Perhaps we are about to get some new laws forcing cars to keep track of their drivers, passengers, places visited etc. Plus, the new cars will all have a remote-control back-door so that law enforcement can control your every move.
Speed limits will automatically be obeyed based on GPS. Parking violations will be reported within 20 seconds with Digital IDs enabling fines to be extracted at the same time.
It will be sold as a way to protect us from car-jackings, theft and dangerous high-speed chases.
So the plan is to make sure that the chances of people reverting to an older car are minimised?
I have an older car- 2006. Not giving her up either.
Put the pipe down.
...wouldn't want that...
Seems coordinated. My suspicious mind. Destroying evidence?
Nah, making it impossible to own and maintain older cars with no computers
That's good enough. Still a plot.
8 instances that HWB has posted are a good basis for more digging. How many more have we not heard of? Well done Hairy.
Idaho, Texas, California (2), Florida, Arizona, North Carolina, Georgia. Seems a lot suspicious.
Just like food processing plants of a couple of years ago?
And next year your car comes with an automatic kill switch that will shut down your car if it detects that you are impaired. My car already alerts me when it notices me being distracted so I suspect it’s already capable and they will simply turn it on at some point remotely.
my girl's toyota apparently already alerts the dealership when her CEL comes on! WTF! Piss off!
With computer chips in the newer cars, they want to be able to track you, take control of your car, shut your car down or have an accident resulting in bodily harm.
