I hate that term (and so does Jordan Peterson, who, incidentally, does not seem to be doing well health-wise). If I run into it, I am tempted to respond, "There is no such thing as 'toxic' masculinity. There is only toxic bullshit...so shut up."
I never understood this about growing older, but as you advance into old age, you realize you have accumulated an amazing armory of invective and insults.
