I think you're right. I'm not a particularly savvy tech guy, but I do have patience. If I can figure out a way to do this, anyone can.... if they have patience to do so. I don't think the Matrix ever counted on millions of patient people, autistes, and other rogue anarchists to group together and find different ways of bypassing their control.

Just search "x video downlader" and pick one. JDownloader2 for a local pc option, but that's more advanced...
With any online utilities, be real careful what you click on...

Thank you, but HA!, I found a different way to do this. I right clicked the video and selected "INSPECT SOURCE"... then did a Ctrl-F find for "mp4" and found it buried down in many lines of code. This is the URL I found: https://video.twimg.com/amplify_video/2020578253808025600/vid/avc1/640x360/7_IY_yq2poUbM4mp.mp4
I then went to that URL and downloaded the video for future use. It might be a clunkier way to do it, but anything that works, right?
