Exclusive: Downed US pilot reported seeing Iranian drones swarm in ‘jellyfish’ formation | CNN Politics
A US fighter jet pilot rescued by special forces after being shot down over Iran in April described a shocking sight before ejecting from his aircraft: multiple Iranian drones hovering in the air, moving as one, in a formation that resembled a jellyfish, a...
Max Afterburner also discusses it. This "jellyfish" has been seen before. I remember seeing a video before showing it and wondering WTF. Max plays that clip in this video. So far nothing has come out about this thing taking down the F-15E, but it was seen according to the pilot and the wizzo.
Iran's JELLYFISH Drone Swarm May Have Taken Down The F-15E
The F-15E was taken down on April 3. The pilot was rescued 7 hours later, while the wizzo was recused on April 5. The ceasefire was announced on April 7 and it went into effect on April 8. I wonder whether the timing of these two events are related in any way or is it just coincidence.
If the IR does possess this type of swarm drone tech, that would dramatically change the calculus regarding fighter jets over Iranian airspace. If they do have this capability, no doubt it came from China. However, what I have seen of China's drone swarms leaves a lot to be desired. Many public demonstrations of drone swarming have ended disastrously with many injuries on the ground and property damage when large numbers of drones fall from the sky on top of watching crowds.
The pilot also suffered a concussion when ejecting from the fighter. No indication at this time whether the wizzo also saw this "jellyfish." The question has been raised as to whether the pilot, having sustained a head injury, actually saw what he claims to have seen given the wizzo is not also making the same claim as far as we know.
Why is CNN the source for being the first to report on this or even reporting on it at all. It seems like information that should not be public, to me at least.
"The account, which has not been previously reported, was shared by the F-15 pilot with intelligence officials during a debriefing after the incident. It immediately set off a firestorm of debate within the US intelligence community that has yet to be resolved."
More unnamed sources bullshit from the Uniparty propaganda wing.
It's a good job they were not shot down in China. They are getting quite good at drone shows.
That is until the drones start falling from the sky or start going haywire. I've seen that in several social media posts from China. One time they were using drones in a fiery display instead of fireworks and the drones started dropping from the sky. A bunch of people were injured from falling drones and were burned. Several trees were set on fire. Total panic.
