I disagree. If someone is a citizen of this country AND has renounced allegiance to any other country, they should be treated as a citizen with the ability to run for office. There are many Cuban expats who are staunchly anti-communist (Rubio) who would be of more value to this country that many pro-communist college graduates.
You are assuming good intent on their behalf, but being raised in a culture imprints an identity. For example chinas birth tourism. Is like750,000 + . None of them stay in America they are all given birth certificates as Americans then immediately sent back to China for raising them as good little CCP minions. In 2-3 years if not already " American citizens " (by birth) will now be eligible for the highest office in the land. We are being invaded through birthright citizenship. The CCP has so many minions within our government and colleges. They even started to have Chinese police departments on American soil. FFS, a police officer in New York was a full on communist spy.
They got away with it with the Kenyan, so why not?
