Before we go over the edge on this one, is the term absentee or mail-in ballots? One must apply for an absentee ballot. And mail in ballots are a state thing where everyone gets them.
I know it sounds silly but this could be a gotcha type of thing. If the ruling is absentee then it’s a small percentage of ballots sent in.

The post office is actually looking at not stamping Post marks on the day ofreceipt, but somewhere centralized like Regional hubs.

That’s how it’s done in my small Oklahoma town.
It is the voter's responsibility to show up and vote on time, but everyone gets A trophy. Especially DEI hires.
