It reminds me of the book A Clockwork Orange. Youth are out of control, rampaging with no fear of authority. Parents are helpless. Complete breakdown of any sense of moral responsibility. The movie doesn't quite measure up. In the book the people acting this way are early teenagers.
This is interesting as it seems to give 9 or 10 "reasons" then works to counter the 'excuses' and it's specific to America. Thug mentality in a group-think world. I missed the "freaknit" era myself...
I'll take a street takeover any day over an organized democrat event. Car people come in all shapes and sizes, from every era and city in America. They all do it different. Remember "Fast and Furious" ? , "Grease" ?. Kids enjoying life before they have to grow up and face the insanity that lurks in this reality.
I'll take a 2006 Corvette Z06 Six Speed and turn me loose @18yo again smack dab in the middle of these kids today, I'm sure it would be a blast !
Grease was "it" oh yeah. Trans Ams and The Beach Boys, Jerry Rafferty, Boston. ELO, Kansas ("The point of no return" ) very poignant..for me. 😁
P.s. carbon fiber was later daze for me...I do admire a good Corvette, though.
You're RIGHT. Puberty starts earlier, the influence of internet phones/computers, food/water/air poisons, lack of "God" in their lives, lack of family value/unity (single parent home)...all work together to create little monsters who do real harm and can become murderers - AGE 10 + There is no cruising the avenue anymore. Now it's taking over the avenue. It's not an individual stealing Bubble Yum from Safeway, it's 10-20 "youths" storming a retail store and stealing EVERYTHING.
Parents failing to hold their kids accountable because they themselves were never taught accountability and responsibility to begin with. Especially that demographic.
Call these takeover events what they are: riots. Disperse the riot, use facial recognition and social media to track the kids down, and then arrest the parents alongside their children. Legally, it's allowable to hold the parents accountable for their children's actions. If they're on welfare or probation, the threat of jail time will force them to address the issue with their kids. And the parents with jobs will be forced to potentially lose wages due to court costs, penalties, etc, as well as the threat of jail time, so they'll be forced to address the issue with their kids, too. I don't know of any parent who wouldn't hammer their kids when faced with being punished alongside them for their stupidity.
Start holding the parents accountable and watch how fast these events stop.
Arresting parents was attempted several years ago, but quickly shut down by liberals saying, then you lock up the one parent who works to support the "child" ...which creates a state-owned child problem. ?!

Also reminds me of the opening of the Starship Troopers book.

There seems to be some common denominator in all these teen takeovers, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Hmm
You profilin' whitey. Kek
"There seems to be some common denominator in all these teen takeovers, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Hmm" ...what do YOU SEE...in America? 😉

😂 I gotcha! This is more serious than in my ole days...
The actual problem is 'kids'. When they are forced to admit WHO these kids are justice for the Criminals can start.

It's hysterical to me the 'aw shucks' about exactly how to stop this type of thing.
We all know what'll stop it.
Do you remember "crowd control" techniques back in the day...Fire engines showed up and started blasting water at the crowds. The good 'ole days..
