The street will be closed for about a week while the crews drop in a new section of steel pipe to replace the riveted steel main that was installed about 100 years ago. There was a similar break about 15 years ago that flooded UCLA’s Poly Pavilion.
Maybe that will clean some of the poop/piss off the street.
