I wish I had an answer for that. I think more and more adults have been abused as children and that contributes to mental illness, the indoctrination they receive at home and in school also mentally harms. I like to think I am a normal, nice, law abiding citizen and when I think back on my childhood I was raised in a loving close family, pretty much turned loose on the countryside from dawn to dusk, also had strict teachers in school that didn't put up with any nonsense. What to do with the already damaged, and there are many, is a real conundrum.
