Amazing resource, thank you for taking the time to make this thread. Our children have been homeschooled since the schools shut down in spring 2020 and we’ve never looked back - if you feel like you can’t do it? Yes, you can. Be encouraged that public schooling is a relatively NEW social experiment and we are seeing the results of that experiment; prior to the advent of public school, parents taught their children at home for thousands of years and they didn’t have a fraction of the resources we do.

I was searching for a word. Something that explains the quiet horror when you realize that this person sitting across from you, looking in your child’s ear, would absolutely inject them with an experimental drug and potentially kill them and still sleep at night.

I felt physically ill standing at check-in. I haven’t had to take them to the doctor since 2019 (we don’t do well visits). It was such a visceral moment to realize these people that have advised you on your childrens’ health since birth literally don’t care if they live or die. They just follow orders.

This. This is exactly our stand and our 12 and 10 year olds have an appropriate response to visibly gay and trans ideologies when they encounter them.

Oh I didn’t take it that way! I definitely understand the ire toward DeWine. One of the worst politicians Ohio has ever seen, no doubt about that.

This extends to carrying in your car, and you don’t have to notify police during a traffic stop, but it does not go into effect for another 90 days.

Agreed. This was by no means a post in praise of DeWine, but I support the legislature that brought this bill to his desk and kept the pressure on until he signed it.
