so there is money allocated for this crap but we don’t give paid maternity leave to women across this country - these people are incentivized to be there when will it stop?

I quit with the vaccinations after retiring from the military as well - I managed to avoid the flu shot both times I was pregnant, but had to get one the other 19 years in service grr - I didn’t have a flu shot until I joined at 19 either. I also stayed far away from that covid crap and will refuse shingles vaccine. It’s bull that no one is being held to account for this horror!

Seems that the only thing that should matter here is that two of our country’s service members have been critically wounded performing their duties as assigned. Could have happened to any branch in the right situation. I think we all agree it should not be happening at all!

Supposed to be a professional organization - shouldn’t have to be reminded to act right.

I got the series back in 99 before/during a deployment to Kuwait - though I have been fortunate enough to receive medical diagnoses versus having to rely on presumptive conditions, I have always felt those vaccines directly resulted in the debilitating conditions I suffer with today.

Forgiveness not necessary - you are free to your opinion - I am just sorry that the bad apples are who you have interacted with. I have experience with more of the opposite from what you describe.

I served on various training days in addition to the drill weekends and annual training. I also retired after 20 years as an active guard and reserve. I collect my DFAS check monthly like the active duty retirees do and I retired at 40 years old. There are so many ways to serve. The point is - I like many others before me served as a national guard member and it damn sure was more than weekend and annual training just to go to school.

Retired guardsman here - there are far more guardsmen and women who are so much more than weekend warriors. Your assessment is wrong. Period.

I might be a tad pissy this morning and dare I say sensitive - but I am curious to know why? Why reference as your first point “easy on the eyes” though it truly has NO relevance to the point of the original post??? Her being smart and full of common sense absolutely rates higher to the majority than how she looks ?

By no means am I saying you should not be able to admire her looks - we are human after all - but maybe come with a bit more substance next time or just maybe think it next time and don’t post it?
