Could the technology just be technology? The use can be both bad and good depending on user(s). A better question might be how do you predict anything? I enjoy mental exercises with multiple what if scenarios, but... Maybe it's more of a very long logic puzzle of 'ruling out' during these mental exercises? Rule out anything MSM says, base example.
