No. People are finding old footage and making up shit about it. Happens every time.

I think they were certainly intercepted and modified.

Definitely agree on that

Webb got the origin of crack in the United States quite wrong.

Which is not surprising given he was writing about it over a decade later.

Giving that them felt the devices heat up, they might have figured out how to do this without explosives.

Lithium batteries as bomb material?

Lithium-ion batteries can explode or catch fire due to a phenomenon called thermal runaway. Thermal runaway is a chain reaction that occurs when the battery experiences a rapid increase in temperature, leading to the release of energy and potentially causing a catastrophic failure.

So possibly this could be done by just screwing with the regular stuff in a pager and overheating the battery?

Incredible security breach.

Crazy.

Know these guys will not trust their electronics. Imagine them giving you another pager?

News channels buy footage from all over the place.

If you caught something newsworthy on your phone, you can sell that footage.

If you were playing golf in a foursome ahead of Trump? Would you take out your cellphone and zoom in?

I think a lot of people would

My phone does 5x zoom optical. 30x zoom digital. And it's a couple years old.

Look how shaky this footage is. It looks like when I zoom in with my cellphone. Completely amateur.

This looks like footage other people, probably golfers or a caddy took and then sold to MSNBC.

IT'S HIGHLY unlikely any news cameras were there at the time.

Insiders can sell Thursday morning at opening bell?

Anyone know how many shares other than Trump can go on the market?

The big assumption is that because some equipment exists, it's routine use

It's retroactive -ism. Once we learn of an issue, it's why isn't every possible thing focused on this one thing.

Its an assumption

A. Hoax bomb threats still suck and are still scary.

B. There have been cases where you can hire someone online for this. So the FBI doesn't knock at your door.

Wouldn't it be rather easy to pick up this dude's heat signature sitting in his little sniper's nest?

You're making a big assumption here.

Mainstream media is reporting this

Police in Florida say Secret Service officer going one hole ahead of Trump to secure the area before he arrived saw the rifle coming out of the bushes and "engaged" with the suspect, who fled.
