Hi, Biden was sworn in as President. Will you keep your word? You offered me a bet of a 1000 dollars, and although I could only agree to 100 - it seems like I won.

I'm copying my comment from a different post with the same picture:

  1. There is no such thing in chess at all.

  2. Chess "moves" are things like "Knight to f6", aka moving a single piece in a single step. If the above strategy were true, it would be called a "gambit" not a "move".

  3. "Castling" exists which is the only move to involve 2 pieces, and it's where the rook (not rock) seemingly passes through and switches places with the King to protect it - but there are a bunch of special rules regarding its availability, and it's a very basic move which is used in almost in every match, definitely not a secret weapon.

  4. Pawns cannot move backwards

  5. Backing your king into a corner is a surefire way to get checkmated unless you are building a "fortress" (which is a real strategy) and hope to achieve a stalemate (aka a draw) by having no legal moves. It is a way to avoid defeat but neither side wins in such a situation.

  6. Players cannot checkmate themselves

  7. Chess has an extensively studied theory and every named situation has a specific time and place. Game openings are sometimes studied 20 moves into a match and every branch is named, like "Richter-Rauzer attack of the Sicilian Defense". If you see some kind of theory with vague details promising grand results you can be 100% sure it's a chess LARP. Not to mention, if there were any such "secret strategy" then it would have been analyzed to death 50 year ago by some Soviet Grandmaster.

Everything in this instagram post is wrong, and it's as if someone tried to stuff as much misinformation into one as possible. Even people who have never played chess should be able to see through such bullshit. Stop posting this, it makes you look stupid

*counsel

Council is a gathering of a body of people, often in a political fashion.

And as I said to the Mod, that kind of thinking leads you into the trap of fallacies. You cannot look away from a scenario just because it would be horrible. Think of the deep state: for them, a Trump presidency was unimaginably horrible, and as such they dreaded the possibility. Aka "they never imagined she would lose'.

...or so you'd think. The deep state is evil, but smart to the extremes. They did imagine she would lose, and as such they set up their "insurance policy"... as we know from Strzok and Page.

The deep state was prepared to be wrong. ARE YOU?

That is a reasonable comment. Let me rephrase myself, I also believe Trump had a plan, and it was relying on law enforcement, the courts and the legislatures. That plan failed.

I have read his 2018 EO against foreign interference, but so far it has only been used to sanction Russia regarding Tony Bobulinski... the opposite of what should have been happening. I'm not too optimistic about that either.

SCOTUS would, as disgraceful as it is.

Hello Mod. Thanks for not nuking the thread.

Honestly, I have to agree - even though as I mentioned in this thread, I live in Hungary, I will probably feel the fallout of a "Harris administration". If the Great Reset comes in then Hungary will experience communism for the third time in its long life. The buck doesn't stop at the USA, and most people don't understand that!

On the other hand, if I have to stay rational... this is what I am talking about. It's the sunken cost fallacy. You have invested so much resource (for which I give my respect) into this cause that you can't afford to ponder on the possibility of being wrong - even though there's a non-zero chance for that scenario. I'm not saying that mockingly. I do creative pursuits in my life and in my teenage years, one of my creations had been forever lost. Even though it was the work of mere months, it hurt like hell. I wish you the best in life and may you never go through something like that.

Please, if I turn out to be wrong, give me a permanent "doomer faggot" flair or just ban me straight ahead. I await the 20th anxiously and may the globalists get fucked forever, hopeless as I am.

You have no idea how I wish to be wrong, lol.

I am 100% convinced of the fraud. I know about the shredded ballots, the freshly printed ballots, the machine-filled ballots, the Dominion vote flips, the Project Veritas videos... Biden probably got 40 million against Trump's 100 million. That would be my estimate.

What I'm saying is that even if you have a mountain of evidence, nothing will come out of it. The left is just that brazen. But let me be proven wrong.

I've never bet money in my life before. All my "bets" so far have had the symbolic reward of "who turns out to be right". That's what a bet means to me, usually.

And I'm broke cause I live in Hungary.

Fair enough. I am not completely convinced either way, but we'll see soon enough. All I'm saying is that "if it's too good to be true..." and Q defo sounds too good to be true.

Thanks! I love my country. It has suffered a lot through its long history, but it's a beautiful land. Feel free to visit anytime if you have the money for such a trip.

Dude, chill. I promise that I'll apologize and admit that I was a hopeless doomer IF I turn out to be wrong. But don't count me out just yet.

Thank you, and while I gotta say, I shamelessly wish to accept your offer - my mom didn't raise no grifter. I'm broke at present, but I'm getting paid some time in February. I'm willing to bet $100. If you lose you pay 100, if I lose I pay 100. If I lose, I won't be able to pay immediately but I swear on all I hold sacred that I will pay once I'm getting my money.

Apologies for the low amounts - I live in Hungary, Central-Eastern European country, we're not exactly a luxurious place. But it's good enough.

That is a possibility. I wish you were right, and maybe you will be.

Yes, that was the true goal of my post, thank you for noticing. And I feel the same.

I'm a Hungarian citizen living in Hungary. If you doubt me then I can photograph a message of your choosing in front of something uniquely Hungarian, like a grocery store with products of Hungarian names. I'm just interested in US politics and even own Trump merch.

I'm poor as fuck right now. You might laugh at me but the best I can do is 20 bucks. If you do want to bet 20 bucks then we can make that bet. I will be the happiest person on Earth who ever lost $20.

That is good. Biden getting in is not the apocalypse, although it is certainly dark news for the world. But paraphrasing Trump; "Don't let fear dominate your life". Even under the oppressive yoke of the Soviet Union people managed to find figments of happiness. I am from a former Soviet Bloc country, I know how bad it can be.
