While I'm sure they'd love that, it would have seriously violent results and knock-on effects that I shudder to even contemplate.

As someone who typically doesn't enjoy long music times, I get why people get frustrated by this, but I've had many friends who are worship leaders and musicians and there is a spiritual warfare element to this time.

It's to bring the whole congregation into a place to receive. You or I may be ready after 5 minutes if we're walking closely with the Lord, but highly distracted, frustrated or hard-hearted people in the congregation may need more time to soften and become "present" and open.

It's also a primary aspect of our relationship with God to give back thanks and praise and worship to Him for what He has done. It's as much of a "tithe" as finances or acts of service.

If the press were there, then advance notice could have spread through back-channels to Trump who could "hide the evidence" via a phone call.

I loved how people did tailgating parties near the polling boxes, need to practice that everywhere. Could be a great thing for people who are strong in hosting and organizing parties.

Cities are also most of the population, everywhere. We need to win cities. This includes minorities who make up a good % of them.

I think video games are addictive because life can be really boring, especially if you aren't rich with the means to travel, have fun vehicles, tools, etc. (whatever is your hobby/gifting). You can do all that in games and still get up and go to the kitchen for a cold drink and sleep in your own bed that night.

Before video games, people escaped with TV or books or plays, etc. Gaming is just more high-octane.

I personally don't think companies are intentionally developing manipulative content in games, they're just doing what they like and think will sell, and most gaming companies are left-leaning, as is all media. So it's full of their values. Basically any new-tech company is progressive by nature because conservatives are really reticent to any kind of change, not just social.

Oh, that's very true. It's not real faith until you're out on a limb. (a bit of an exaggeration) Makes you strong. He's worthy of our trust.

We've been losing friends since 2016 though, already. We're in the trenches right now. We just want to see victory-day and time seems to be short. We've seen the concentration camps, the unjust persecution and corruption of innocents. We're mad as hell and just want to see their figurative blood coating the streets.

The drawback of waking up early is the waiting

Heh, so true. But it's an opportunity to strengthen our faith, and be part of the change.
