They do on certain things yes, but not when it comes to their personal equipment. ERCOT can tell companies all day to winterize their equipment but they don't have to listen and that is a FACT, please prove me wrong. ERCOT doesn't produce the energy in Texas, seems that's what you're thinking lmao.

Also ERCOT can tell private energy companies something and that said private energy company DOESN'T have to follow anything they said. Ercot has no authority to tell companies to winterize their equipment which they sent out multiple warnings days before.
The people working at Ercot have no authority when it comes to the energy policies passed down through the government. Educate yourself more on the finer details before you play the blame game.
1st of all the CEO runs the company and doesn't make those decisions about wind turbines. If you think the CEO has enough power to install regulations about green energy in Texas then you're pretty stupid. The CEO is not a politician and doesn't have as much power as you think. You're celebrating someone that got fired who is just doing his job and got blamed for everything. ERCOT REQUESTED FOR MORE ENERGY OUTPUT AND WAS DENIED. Youre blaming a CEO who has way less power then Texas Legislature, that literally doesn't make sense.
Just because someone resigns from a position doesn't mean it's related to anything on this site. This will get downvoted because people are dumb enough to believe every resignation is related to the Cabal or something like that.
Lmao Ercot sent notices of bad weather out to the companies days before. The companies are not required to follow what ercot says about what to do with their equipment. Does THAT help you? Please keep digging yourself this hole because obviously you don't know what you're talking about. ?
So I'm not trying to be a dick here but It specifically says in your energy contract if you follow the market or if you're buying the energy at a certain price. The people getting the extreme bills obviously don't know that and should probably do more research before jumping at certain energy companies.
Ercot does tell them to shed load but not where. That's up to the energy companies. All the blame seems to be put on Ercot which doesn't make sense. Should they get a little blame? Yes. But making them out to be enemy number 1 is not correct. At the end of the day Ercot follows orders and it doesn't matter if people there don't agree with it.
You should lookup what ERCOT actually does before lashing out. They don't provide or produce energy and have literally no power on deciding who's energy stays on or off. Blame your personal power company for not being prepared. If you don't agree with what I said then I challenge you to prove me wrong.
There's literally multiple CEO's that have been fired or resigned this year that have no connection whatsoever to the DS. Not going to name the hundreds or thousands of them. What I said was merely an obvious statement that needs to be echoed to the masses and not an assertion. Unless you can come up with the evidence for every CEO, my statement proves true, therefore not a falsehood.
