this happened with my aunt. She was doing sooo well, and then...they took her away and put her back on the vent a second time. she was about to eat a homemade soup. They allowed family to take 12 hour shift swaps with her. I do believe that's what kept her alive for her last month, alive. She fought and was recovering well...
