I have a full hydro/aeroponic garden in my house, a real garden outside (if power is cut) that can sustain myself and 3 others for vegetables. I have frozen deer in the freezer and the ability to hunt land, non perishables that can last me about 6 months and multiple water filters that will last me multiple years. Enough to get by. Helps me feel less nervous

My dad still live about 15 minutes from DC, and he is in the construction business. From what he tells me everyday through gritted teeth is that people still try to make him wear a mask to enter their homes when they are vaccinated and he tells them straight up he is not. He even gives a 15% up charge on jobs when he knows they are Democrats (his way of saying fuck you).

The closer you get to DC, the worse the brainwashing is. The further you go west in nova, the more red it gets. Unfortunately, it will be a California/Colorado scenario here cuz the state gov is deep blue at this point...

Northern va anon here, born and raised. Nova is an interesting beast. Being so close to DC, you get a ton of gov folks that live cushioned lives never being able to get fired. You also get the people selling to the gov who have boatloads of money. None of these people would ever commit financial suicide and side with us.

Then you have the lifers like me and others, that watched fairfax and loudoun get over run by these people as the gov spending grew and they wanted to move further and further west (from dc). Us normal folks are sided with the rest of Virginia (minus Richmond and ca beach) and you’ll still see tons of American flags, trump won signs etc all over western loudoun.
